The Ryecroft Guest House is a small, family owned and run six-roomed bed and breakfast with optional evening meals. The proprietors, take pride in their attention to detail and their flexible approach to the individual needs of guests, and they invite you to enjoy a relaxing stay at the Ryecroft for one or more nights. The Ryecroft is open all year round, and provides bed and breakfast for business guests and holiday makers alike.
The building itself dates back to 1898, and is located in the quieter end of Great Yarmouth. The beach, town centre, and race track are just a few minutes walk away, and the "Golden Mile" is also within easy walking distance. This makes the Ryecroft Guest House a great place from which to explore Great Yarmouth, the Norfolk Broads, and the surrounding area, including Lowestoft and Pleasurewood Hills in Suffolk
Our guest bedrooms.
Our bedrooms are all en-suite, except for one family room that has a full private bathroom. We do not offer rooms with shared facilities. We have a choice of triple, double, twin and single bedded rooms. During busy periods, single occupancy of a double room will be charged at the room rate.
All guest bedrooms are fitted with kettles, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, and welcome baskets.
Licensed bar, day room, and dining room.
We are a licensed guest house selling a small range of beers, wines, and spirits. Why not join us in our cosy bar at the end of a long day and curl up with your favourite tipple.
Our large, comfortable, dining room, with its original stained glass window, is light, roomy and airy, with separate tables seating up to four people.
A small cosy day room carries a small supply of books, and for your amusement. This room is strictly alcohol free.
Breakfast menu. All of our breakfasts start with:
A choice of fruit juices.
A serving of grapefruit and orange segments, or prunes.
A choice of cereals.
Brown or white toast with choice of jams, or marmalade.
Tea, coffee, or herbal tea.
Also included in the price is a choice of one of the following:
Full English (bacon, sausages, scrambled/fried egg, mushrooms, tomato, and baked beans).
Vegetarian English (veggie sausages, hash brown, scrambled/fried egg, mushrooms, tomato, and baked beans).
Continental (yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheddar, and a croissant.
Vegetarian Continental (yoghurt, fruit, brie, cheddar, and a croissant.
Ryecroft Fish Dish (smoked haddock, scrambled egg, with bread and butter).
Ryecroft Lighter Bite (toasted cheese and tomato sandwich).

Did you know that Great Yarmouth has a rich and proud maritime heritage and was once one of the wealthiest towns in Britain on account of its prosperous herring fishery. Norfolk born Horatio Nelson also has very strong connections with Great Yarmouth. Our most obvious attraction is our clean, sandy beaches. They span a total of 15 miles, from Winterton-on-Sea in the north to Hopton-on-Sea in the south.
