This delightful hotel is tucked away in a peaceful, tranquil setting but within easy reach of Pickering, York, Beverley, Malton, Bridlington and Scarborough. Consequently, The Old Mill is an ideal base for both tourists and for business people many of whom also now see the hotel’s peaceful setting as the ideal venue for conferences, corporate bonding etc. The hotel is situated within a short driving distance of Beverley racecourse and is an ideal venue for racegoers who want to combine a day at the races with a relaxing break.
Dating back to the 17th century, The Old Mill was formerly the farm house attached to the corn mill. Now the authentic charm has been retained fully whilst at the same time incorporating present day requirements in the form of comfortable en-suite guest bedrooms, the A La Carte restaurant, an impressive bar, banqueting facilities and is the setting for a number of social and business functions. All in this perfect location overlooking the Yorkshire Wolds!
We have nine luxurious rooms available for residents, each fully equipped with en-suite facilities, and most featuring a view across the rolling Yorkshire Wolds. Guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished in keeping with the character of the building and are centrally heated with colour television, beverage making facilities and hair dryer. A trouser press and ironing equipment is available on request.

Restaurant
Our fully licensed restaurant caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. Food is available from our widely varied A La Carte menu from 12 until 2:00 in the afternoon and 6.00pm until 9:00 in the evenings.
Bar meals are also available. On Sundays food is served from 12 mid-day until 2.30pm and again at night between 6.00pm and 8.30pm.
Our function room caters for parties of all descriptions, seating 30 at the banqueting table. In total, 80 guests can be accommodated utilising the whole restaurant. Ideal for wedding receptions, office parties and other celebrations. The dance floor is ideal for evening parties.
We always use fresh local produce whenever possible. All our meat and fish is sourced locally - the beef comes from the "Givendale" herd - steaks being one of our restaurant's specialities.
