Our Accommodation
The drawing room : There is a large and light drawing room for the guests to use, with an open fire, lovely views and a wonderful collection of large books on art, history and the local area for you to enjoy. The perfect environment for you to relax in one of the finest guest houses in the Cotswolds.
The dining room : Breakfast is served in the distinctive beamed dining room. Jane prepares delicious breakfasts using local product
Bedroom one : An elegant double bedroom featuring exposed beams, antique furniture and decorated in a classic understated style. . Adjoining the room is a private bathroom.
Bedroom two : This is pretty blue bedroom is luxuriously furnished and has its own private landing, off which is a single bedroom which is only used in conjunction with bedroom three, making it ideal for family/group stays. It is a versatile room as the twin beds can be easily converted to a king size.
Bedroom three : Rich, warm colours make this single room a cosy place to stay whatever the time of year. The room is only used in conjunction with the twin room and shares its bathroom.
Self Catering Accommodation Old Manor Cottage
Welcome to the Old Manor Cottage, a beautifully restored luxury holiday cottage providing the perfect place to relax or explore Stratford-upon-Avon, the surrounding Cotswolds countryside and historical stately homes & gardens. This 17th century grade II listed cottage belongs to the nearby Old Manor House in a quiet corner of the village, with landscaped grounds leading down to the River Stour and views of the Ilmington Hills beyond. The cottage has been recently refurbished but retains many original features.
The sitting room: The beamed sitting room has an open fire making it a comfortable place to unwind after an enjoyable day exploring the Cotswolds, with the added benefit of a sofa bed, TV, DVD and separate CD/iPod player/docking station and WIFI throughout.
The Kitchen : The beamed self-catering kitchen/dining room has underfloor heating and is fully fitted with appliances, including fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, fan/electric oven and has a microwave too - all that you need to prepare a great meal.
Bedroom 1: Upstairs the landing leads to a single bedroom with a large walk in wardrobe and through to the main bedroom with a luxurious kingsize bed and antique painted furniture.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom, with a single bed, is comfortable and simply decorated in a traditional cottage style.
The Bathroom: The bathroom has recently been renovated to a high standard with underfloor heating. The classic clean white bathroom suite includes a power shower over the bath and electric heating rail. All linen and towels are provided.
Guests have use of a section of the gardens with their own summerhouse and outdoor eating area – with full use of the tennis court through prior arrangement.
There is ample parking and the village of Halford has a shop and a pub, plus there are many excellent restaurants nearby
