Belan Lodge Bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation near The Curragh Racecourse, Punchestown Racecourse and Naas Racecourse providing accommodation for horse racing breaks in County Kildare and Ireland.
Belan Lodge, and its historic courtyard give a unique oppurtunity to relax , unwind and steep yourself in history on a working farm. The farm was part of the renowned Belan House estate, the home of the famed corn miller Ebenezer Shackleton and uncle of the antartic explorer Ernest Shackleton.

We have Bed and Breakfast accommodation available.
The rooms are all ensuite and a choice of traditional or continental breakfasts are available. If you have any special dietary requirements please advise us in advance and we will be able to fully cater for your needs.. The cost is €25 per person sharing or €50 per room. We are open all year round
Self Catering
There are 4 self catering apartments available to rent in the courtyard.
There are both one and two bedrooms units in different sizes and layout available. Prices range from €200 to €350 per week all year round.

County Kildare is home to 3 major racecourses:
The Curragh racecourse is home to all 5 of the Irish Horseracing Classics. The Curragh is also home to many horse training stables. On an early morning visit to the Curragh it is possible to see the trainers and jockeys preparing their horses for the next big race. It is a great chance to see the behind the scenes work of the "Sport of Kings". Punchestown is the "Irish Cheltenham". The annual festival attracts the top National Hunt horses in Ireland and the UK.
